Sterilization

Every sterilization technique performed in our practice is in accordance with national safety guidelines.  All of the medical sterilization equipment we use has been cleared by the FDA.  Monitoring of sterilization units is performed with each cycle and verified using an outside testing source.

Digital X-ray

The health of our patients is our number one priority, which is why we have invested in digital x-ray equipment.  Digital radiographic units allow us to acquire necessary x-ray images with up to 90% less radiation than traditional x-ray equipment.  X-ray results are instant and clearly viewed on display monitors in each room.  This technology is not only beneficial to your health, but also to our environment.  Unlike traditional x-ray films, digital x-ray images do not require hazardous developing solutions or generate lead waste. 

DIAGNOdent

The DIAGNOdent uses laser fluorescence for early detection of tooth decay.  With this non-invasive monitor, small dental problems are detected and treated early, allowing us to protect and preserve healthy tooth structure.  Early diagnosis and treatment prevents more complicated and costly procedures.

Nitrous Oxide sedation

We offer nitrous oxide sedation for both adults and children.  Commonly known as "laughing gas", nitrous oxide is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask over the nose.  It works quickly to help anxious patients feel more calm and relaxed during their dental care.  The effects of the nitrous oxide wear off immediately after use, so you can safely drive or return to work or school after your appointment.
